BODY, SPIRIT, MENTAL/EMOTIONAL HEALTH AWARENESS

I JUST WANT TO CALL ATTENTION TO THIS MONTH, AS MAY IS THE MONTH FOR

MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS.

ACCORDING TO THE NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF MENTAL HEALTH, ONE OUT OF

EVERY 5 U.S. ADULTS WILL SUFFER FROM A MENTAL HEALTH ILLNESS DURING

THEIR LIFETIME. THAT IS ROUGHLY 50 MILLION PEOPLE. SO, IF YOU ARE

FACING CHALLENGES, SUFFICE TO SAY THAT YOU ARE NOT ALONE. AS A

MATTER OF FACT, YOUR NEXT-DOOR NEIGHBORS CAN PROBABLY

COMMISSERATE WITH YOU ABOUT THEIRS.

I HAVE FACED MY OWN CHALLEGES THROUGHOUT MY LIFE, AND FROM MY

PERSPECTIVE, WHEN ONE PART OF YOU FACES CHALLENGES THEN THE REST

OF YOU SUFFERS AS WELL.

WHEN THE BODY GOES THROUGH ILLNESS, THE MIND, SPIRIT AND EMOTIONS

ARE AFFECTED. WHEN YOUR SPIRIT IS CHALLENGED IT AFFECTS ALL PARTS

OF YOU. THIS IS THE SUMMATION OF HOLISTIC HEALTH AND IT INVOLVES

EVERTHING ABOUT YOU. WHEN YOU ARE DEFICIENT IN ONE AREA, ALL AREAS

ARE DEPRIVED TO SOME DEGREE. ALSO, JUST LIKE VIRUSES, ONE PERSON’S

CHALLENGES TYPICALLY WILL AT SOME POINT IMPRINT ON THOSE CLOSE BY.

BE AWARE. MAINTAIN BALANCE. CLARITY AND AWARENESS IS VERY

IMPORTANT AT ALL TIMES, AS YOU LIVE EACH DAY, TO MAINTAIN BALANCE IN

YOUR VESSEL.

HAVING SAID THAT, KNOW THAT YOUR SOUL/SPIRIT HOLDS A GREAT RESERVE

OF STRENGTH TO CARRY YOU THROUGH OTHER ILLNESSES

MENTAL/EMOTIONAL OR PHYSICAL. YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE AND CALL UPON

THAT STRENGTH TO PROVIDE YOU SUPPORT DURING DIFFICULT TIMES.

PRAYER, MEDITATION, RITUALS AND INNER GUIDANCE. TALK TO YOUR

CREATOR.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE, EVER. WE ARE ALL HERE FOR ONE ANOTHER. YOUR

SPIRITUAL TEAM IS ALWAYS AVAILABLE TO YOU. WE ARE ALL LINKED IN SOME

WAY. RECOGNIZE THAT AND WHEN YOU SENSE SOMEONE HAS A NEED, BE

THERE FOR THEM…EVEN IF JUST TO SIT WITH THEM.

OUR EARTHLY REALM IS A VERY ROUGH AND TRYING EXISTENCE. NO ONE

JUST “BREEZES THROUGH” LESSONS IN THIS DIMENSION. SO MANY PEOPLE

ARE GOING THROUGH THEIR OWN PERSONAL HELL…..THEY NEED

HELP…..PEOPLE TEND TO IGNORE THOSE WHO ARE SUFFERING BECAUSE

THEY HAVE THEIR OWN SITUATIONS TO DEAL WITH….DON’T BE THAT PERSON.

LET THEM KNOW YOU CARE. IF NECESSARY, HAND OUT A SUICIDE

PREVENTION PHONE NUMBER. SHOW THEM THEY ARE NOT ALONE. CALL

FOR THEM, IF THEY ARE UNABLE. TURNING A BLIND EYE TO ANYONE ELSE’S

ILNESSES, ESPECIALLY IF THEY REACH OUT TO YOU, CREATES A LESSON FOR

YOU.

LET THAT LESSON ALWAYS BE AN EXPRESSION OF LOVE.
