Embracing November

November is the 11th month of the year, which is highly spiritual. Eleven is a master number in a spiritual sense carrying an emphasis on creativity and enlightenment. It is the number that carries ethereal weight with a higher vibration. This alone is something to be grateful for, which is what November is typically all about.

It is a time for you to invest in your gifts and passions. A time to allow others to see who you are and what you possess as an individual by sharing it with those around you.

A month of being thankful for those gifts that you were given to bring to this earthly realm.

And yes, we all have gifts…starting with the gift of life. The eleventh month is not just a time to be grateful to others, but a time to be grateful to God for the light that you are able to shine on those around you.

While we are all enjoying the togetherness of celebrating “the giving season”, we also should take time to go to a deeper level and express gratefulness to ourselves. Appreciate who you are. Allow your soul, your higher self, to speak to you through meditation. (I recently posted a meditation for you to follow on Youtube) The messages that you receive may surprise you!

I also want to mention that this is also a time of sadness and depression for many for differing reasons. A time of loneliness. And there is a real and deep wound that exists for many who are doing their best to carry on during the holidays. Some may attempt to heal themselves through addictions to drugs, alcohol or food….and some may feel so lost that they feel they are unable to embrace any goodness in life. When my infant daughter died it was almost impossible to find any way to embrace others joy and light during the first holiday after. I felt as though I was in a pit of darkness, always trying to “be normal” for others. And it was a personal and painful journey, but I made my way because I always had “a knowing” that I was not alone. God was my guide to heal. He gave His support but asked me to complete the healing work for myself. That is a challenging journey, and everyone has their own. Be cognizant of that and know that it is not for us to judge anyone at any time. It is hard enough to move forward carrying the heavy baggage that we do each day. Be there for those who might be afflicted with inner pain and shine your light upon them, through a smile or a word. Light the way for them.

Please recognize that 11 is a powerful number that speaks of unity and oneness. Remember that we all are connected and now is the time to demonstrate that amongst family, friends and those we meet. I am embracing thankfulness for all that I have experienced in life, good or not so good. And in doing so, I am sharing this blog with you as a way of shining my light, in the hope that it will make yours brighter. God bless all of you!
