COLOR MY WORLD: CHAKRAS AND ASSOCIATED COLORS

Color my world, indeed! Do you know that your aura carries color that can tell an auric

reader a great deal of information about you? Also, your chakras from crown to root

resonate with color that can show imbalances in your field.

Every color generates feelings such as anger, happiness, calmness, sexual and

intellectual feelings. We are surrounded by colors every day and they influence you, as

well as the environment and others surrounding you. Chakras carry energy that flows

through us. This is our life force. The quality of this energy influences how we perceive

and experience life on multiple levels: spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical.

Most people do not pay attention to color regarding spirituality, but please know this….

Your astral body is made of color, and it is particularly important in our life, so please

read this brief blog to gain a basic understanding of Chakra colors.

There are seven chakras that line up our spine, and each one is associated with a

color:

  • Crown Chakra - Violet

  • Third Eye/Brow Chakra - Indigo

  • Throat Chakra - Blue

  • Heart Chakra - Green

  • Solar Plexus Chakra - Yellow

  • Sacral Chakra - Orange

  • Root Chakra -Red

There is quite a bit of reading material on chakras, there are 114 chakras altogether,

but these are the main seven that I will review:

- I use my Crown and Third Eye Chakras to connect to spirit and consciousness

beyond our living realm. These two chakras are instrumental in your level of

insight, awareness, and intuition. For me, they are especially important to support

balance as they are tools for anyone working with higher consciousness, and you

too have these tools. If you want to learn how to use them, I would be happy to

put a class together…. Send me an email. I have taught them previously, and the

classes are always remarkably interesting.

- The Throat Chakra is all about communication. If you are finding difficulty

expressing yourself, there might be an imbalance here. It is a blue color and

varies in intensity as all chakra colors do depending on mood, environment,

health, etcetera.

- Of course, the Heart Chakra is all about love! Open to love and healing of the

heart, emotionally and physically. Compassion. It is green, which symbolizes

nature and growth. There are healing properties in this chakra, and it is the

connecting chakra between the lower and upper chakras. There is a lot of energy

traveling through this chakra. It is easy to suffer an imbalance in the heart.

- Next is the Solar Plexus Chakra, also easily out of balance. This yellow chakra is

all about self-empowerment! A link to your true inner self and where your inner

awareness lies. How confident are you? Are you driven and motivated? Do you

like yourself? This is where your self-esteem is parked, with your sense of

purpose or mission.

- Moving onto the Sacral Chakra which is symbolized by orange. The warmth and

coziness of the autumn months. It is about being creative and intellectually

stimulated. Also, about sensuality and passion. If this is out of balance, there are

intimacy issues, or you cannot connect with your ideas and imagination. Your

desires, feelings, emotions, and pleasures live in this chakra.

- Lastly, is Root Chakra. A deep red chakra color full of stability and power. It is

what keeps you grounded in life, so your flighty feelings and thoughts do not

carry you away. Your connection to everything and the actual roots for energy

supply. Physical energy. This chakra carries energy to all the other chakras. The

Root Chakra out of balance can signal mental and physical health challenges.

The seven chakras vibrate at different frequencies and reflect light into your astral body

or aura. This is how the auric reader can decide if there are imbalances, but it is not

the only way. There is the Theory of Chakras or Chakra Science that delves into the

vibrational frequencies of light and how all these things at play create our physical,

mental, and spiritual well-being, or lack thereof. It would encompass a whole other blog

and barely scratch the surface to truly provide details on this subject.

So, take heed! Color is especially important for us. The colors of make-up. The color of

your interior design. The color of your clothes…. Again, another whole topic. Years

ago, I would buy sea salt, colored with dye to soak in, but frankly I stopped because it

was so difficult to clean the color out of my tub. We burn distinct colors of candles that

carry a variety of meanings and uses, too. Everything in our world involves color! I

hope this blog has revved up some curiosity about chakras and colors for you.

Did I color your world? Or, at the minimum, your perspective on the importance of

colors spiritually? Send me an email if you would like to see more blogs like this one!

Thank you.

Blessings,

Annette
